It’s will be usually on Windows which will produce Blue Screen of Death, but iPhone 5s owners reported similar frozen screens when running built-in productivity apps such as Keynote or Numbers.
Apple is continuously trying to provide a stage fix to the problem. This issue was supposed to get a fixed in the release of iOS 7.0.3, which was promised to have a much better system stability. But this issue is even getting reported in new iOS release 7.0.0.6. There are few workarounds fixes available I have tried to write some of these .
One best working way is to Turn off iCloud syncing for Pages, Keynote, and Numbers via the iPhone 5s settings. To do that
- Open Settings
- Open iCloud
- Tap on Documents and Data
- turn off every iWork options
This workaround is working for most of affected user. Hopefully this only should fix blue screen issue in iphone5s.
One more way is to exiting back to the home screen before opening any other application to avoid such crashes.
Some users are reporting BSODs followed by an infinite reboot loop, apparently unrelated to the iWork problem. Apple hasn’t acknowledged a second problem.
You can do a factory restore to fix such issues, but keep in mind that you will lose all data.
Please Note – if you are modifying a document in iWork, and once you are done , make sure iWork is shut down and not running in background.
